Some pictures from a University trip to France, staying in Montaigu and visiting Nantes one afternoon.
Nantes itself is a brilliant place; TGVs (of several varieties) mingle with older loco-hauled 'Co-Rail' stock, whilst modern articulated D/EMUs run the regional services.
Montaigu on the other hand, sees a pretty infrequent regional service (approximately 2-/3-hourly!!) and the odd diesel-hauled 'Co-Rail' passes through at speed.
